1. What We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform:
- Account information: email address, phone number, WhatsApp number.
- Authentication: your password is hashed — we never see or store it in plain text.
- Shop information: shop name, URL slug, logo image, Mobile Money details (network provider, number, account name).
- Product data: product names, descriptions, prices, images, stock levels, and categories.
- Order data: customer name, phone number, delivery address, order items, payment method, and payment status.
- Server logs: technical request data used for debugging and monitoring.
2. What We Don't Collect
- We do not use tracking cookies beyond what is needed for authentication.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not collect browsing behavior or analytics about how you use the internet.
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
3. Why We Collect It
- To operate and maintain the StoreLink platform.
- To process seller subscription billing.
- To send order notifications via email and SMS.
- To diagnose technical issues and improve the service.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate StoreLink. Each handles a specific part of the platform:
- Supabase — database, user authentication, and file storage.
- Paystack — seller subscription billing. We never see or store your card details.
- Resend — transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets).
- Arkesel — SMS notifications.
- Axiom — server logging and error monitoring.
- Vercel — website hosting and content delivery.
5. Data Retention
- Your account data is kept for as long as your account is active.
- After you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
- Order history retention depends on your subscription plan: Free (30 days), Starter (90 days), Growth (unlimited).
6. Account Deletion
Self-service account deletion will be available in your account settings soon. In the meantime, you can request account deletion by contacting us at support@storelinkgh.com.
7. Your Rights
- You can update your information at any time from your dashboard.
- You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.
- You can request that we delete your account and associated data.
8. Security
- All connections to StoreLink are encrypted using HTTPS.
- Our database uses row-level security to isolate each shop's data.
- Passwords are hashed — we never store them in plain text.
- Paystack handles all card and payment information directly — we never see or store it.
9. Children
StoreLink is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
